Growing as a Leader

Growing as a Leader ------ is a course designed to assist pastors, church planters, staff members, small group leaders, teachers, and others in growing to full maturity as leaders. The course will begin by developing a biblical concept of leadership, with particular attention to Jesus as a leader, with reference to other biblical leaders as well. We will move through various aspects of how to grow in healthy leadership, culminating in considering our legacy as leaders. There will be practical application along the way, with plenty of opportunity to interact and give feedback. The excellent book Leaders Who Last, by Dave Kraft, will serve as the textbook for the course, and is required reading. The class sessions will track with the chapters in the book, augmented by other outstanding resources on leadership.
