Chris Kohn

Chris Kohn is a pastor, missionary, leadership coach, and the founder and director of Orchard Ministries.  He is passionate about helping people rise, run, and roar in their God-given purposes and about helping people discover that their lives are part of a much bigger story.

With over 20 years of ministry experience and seven plus years serving full-time in Ndola, Zambia, Chris and his wife Heidi have had the privilege of developing young leaders and helping build a unique movement of faith and fun through Orchard Ministries (founded by the Kohn family in 2018) and the Young Lions (a youth running team and leadership development community).  They have also planted a thriving upside-down church in Ndola’s Chifubu compound.  Roar Church is vibrant, untamed, and joyful!

Along the way, Chris has learned that missions is not just something we do, from time to time, but it’s a way of life that every follower of Jesus is invited into. He believes that when people step out in faith, embrace discomfort, and say “yes” to God, they begin to discover and develop the courage, compassion, and character they were created to live with.

Chris and Heidi currently serve as Youth Pastors at Heart for the World Church in NM and lead a great Next Gen Team that includes their four sons!  

The Kohn family continues to invest in the next generation both locally and globally.
