Paul, a great apostle of Jesus Christ, masterfully wrote this letter to the church in Rome. In it he skillfully presents the case for the gospel to new believers in Christ. He clearly lays out the fullness of the finished work of Christ on the cross for lost humanity. Unlike other letters Paul wrote, he brilliantly laid out the entirety of the scope of Christian doctrine - clearly showing that in Christ alone are the answers to life’s important questions. Church history tells us that the study of this book sparked revivals. Augustine, Martin Luther and John Wesley all trace their spiritual renewals to studying Romans.
