Character Development courses are designed teach the practical application of Christian faith and beliefs that lead to godly responses and lifestyle no matter the circumstances.
The book of Proverbs is a collection of divinely inspired, timeless sayings of wisdom from King Solomon, who was known as the wisest man on earth. The main theme is the nature of true wisdom. Wisdom is the application of knowledge.
In this class, we are going to see how knowledge (collection of facts) when understood and applied to the situations of life can help us to live with wisdom (applied knowledge) in our speech, work, and relationships. As believers in Christ, we want to live in a manner that is pleasing to God and positively affect those around us through our life choices His ways and love.
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.
