About the Course
This Missions course is an invitation to step into the bigger story God is telling in our world. Through Scripture, real-life stories from the mission field, and practical challenges, we’ll explore what it means to live our lives on mission with and for Jesus.
Rather than presenting missions as something reserved for a few, this course will help you see it as a core part of every individual’s discipleship journey. Together, we’ll learn about God’s BIG heart for the nations. We will glean from both the beauty and the difficulty of cross-cultural ministry and discover how stepping outside our comfort zones reveals our need for God, the richness of His global family, and a purpose beyond our imagination!
The more I engage in missions, the more I realize I have yet to learn! But I have experienced firsthand the joys of how saying “yes” to God’s mission for us, in our world and in this generation, changes us for the better, and helps us to become the lions He made us to be!
The main objective of this class is for students to gain a better understanding of God’s heart and of missions as an expression of true discipleship. And that you’ll follow Jesus’ example of unwavering missional living, and step into a life of purpose, impact, and adventure with Him and for His glory!
