About the Course

Second Kings is the continuing history of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah and their journeys to exile outside of the promise land. The northern kingdom, Israel, under the leadership of twelve ungodly kings, who don’t listen to the warnings of prophets of God - find themselves in captivity in Assyria. The southern kingdom, Judah, did not do much better. Although they did have two good kings, King Hezekiah and King Josiah – the people of Judah also found themselves as exiles in Babylon.

The biblical history lessons of 2 Kings are beneficial and applicable to us today. Through the amazing lives of Elijah and Elisha we can be encouraged to boldly follow God in our world and watch him do amazing things. We can also be encouraged to be like kings Hezekiah and Josiah and choose to look to God, do what right, and experience deliverance from the enemy and revival.

Join us as we learn from the past so we can be among those who point others to the Kingdom of God and His ways!
