Jesus's Strategy for a Disciple-Making Church

Our secular environment (and even contemporary church culture) pressures ministers, church planters, and missionaries to demonstrate success in ministry in ways that lead to unhealthy concepts of pastoring and church growth. In contrast, this course promotes a Biblical understanding of healthy church growth modeled on the example and teachings of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and carried out by New Testament ministers like Paul. This Biblical understanding is founded on making disciples in Jesus’s way—through building purposeful relationships that rely on the transforming work of the Holy Spirit to conform believers to His image (Romans 8:29).
