About the Course
This course is inspired by one of the great biblical characters – Daniel. Daniel and his three friends found themselves living in the ungodly culture of Babylon as captives who had been exiled from their homeland in Israel.
In this class, we are going to be focusing on Daniel’s life as a captive who did not remain at the bottom of society nor did he allow himself to be overcome by the culture surrounding him, but instead rose to the top and became one of the most influential men not only in Babylon but also in the high levels of government of the Medes after their conquest of Babylon.
His promotions and success came through his integrity before his God, his captors and those in captivity with him. His honorable and uncompromising godly life influenced kings and rulers and he was called “highly esteemed” by Gabriel the archangel. May this course direct us all into places where we can honor the God of heaven and bring Him pleasure.
